Terry Pratchett's
Wyrd Sisters
The team that brought you Under Milk Wood and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, return to present Wyrd Sisters by Britain’s favourite and much-missed fantasy author, Terry Pratchett®. Directed by Andy Fraser.
'A king has been murdered, the crown lost, a land in peril. Only three women stand between the Kingdom and destruction but they are no wallflowers, they are Discworld® Witches! The problem with witches is they don’t agree with meddling in politics, in fact they rarely agree on anything except that they definitely do not have leaders. Granny Weatherwax is the most highly-regarded of the leaders they definitely don’t have and she is about to discover that meddling with royalty is a lot more difficult than certain playwrights would have you believe.'
As with previous productions, this Hippodrome Foyer Play is based on an original radio script dramatized by Vince Foxall for BBC Radio 4 and will be performed script-in-hand with live sound effects and a large cast of players old and new. Featuring strolling minstrels, fools, ghosts, murderers and diverse alarums!
Rehearsals are underway and already this is looking to be a hilarious and action-packed performance with a truly fantastic cast. Don't miss out. Buy your tickets today!
